Another week, another update of the PlayStation store. Today we have a pretty good update with 3 demos, some games and a lot of videos. Here's the list of the content that was added today:
An Ubisoft rep has responded to criticism
that its Wii lineup contains nothing for "normal" gamers by essentially
saying that nobody cares about their best games, so screw it.
It seems that not all is well with the 360 version of GRID, with reports surfacing that the game is freezing during play.
The 360 version (alongside the PC and PS3 versions) went on sale in the
UK yesterday, and it seems that all is not well, with gamers complaining that the game repeatedly freezes during play.
In the aftermath of our story
about the poor bastard from the University of Evanston who had his Xbox
360 swiped and replaced with the good, reliable Xbox of old, I came
across a forum post over at Houston-Imports. Here’s the story:
So, with the news this morning
that PS3 Firmware 2.40 will include in-game XMB we've decided to break
it down a little - find out what's confirmed and what isn't, and put
together what we think 2.40 will actually involve:

So recently I learned the secret behind the towel trick. Most of you
already know this one; wrap a large towel or two around your 360, let
it overheat and BANG! no more red ring of death. This works because the
heat welds something inside, I'm really too stupid to know what, but it
welds it and is basically a temporary fix. This was interesting because
I had countless people tell me that the towel trick is actually a
method to STOP it from overheating. I was just as dumbfounded as you
were, because obviously the towel will make it melt in a fiery cesspool
of death...somewhat like that.
At Microsoft's spring gamer's day, Game Invasion, along with a few
other blogs/sites/magazines had a chance to sit with Microsoft Game
Studios' head honcho and talk (in this Part 2) Xbox LIVE, a new
console, and a whole lot of Sony.
On over-saturating the nasty holiday market:
The industry is so big that even with titles like GTA releasing in
April I still think you're going to see 50% of the business done in the
last quarter with 25% in December.
It's an interesting business challenge - you have a bunch of
publishers, who are publicly traded and who are generally risk-adverse,
going. 'Look. If 50% of the business gets done in the holiday, I've got
to go compete in that quarter.' And they all shoot for that and then
there's too many titles.
Another magazine has piped up to claim
that the Xbox 360 motion controller 'Newton' is real, making the 360
Wii Remote look even more likely to be the real deal.
he rumours are true: critically acclaimed Take-Two shooter BioShock is finally, definitely coming to PlayStation Details

charge of screenshots.
